Mince Pie Making Competition

Think you can cook, eh? The humble mince pie should separate the Gordon Ramseys from the Gordon Bennetts, the Delia Smith’s from the Iain Duncan Smiths (notoriously bad at both baking and politics), the Jamie Olivers from the Jamie Redknapps (famously struggles with pastry as much as he does punditry), the Greg Wallaces from err…well, nevermind him.  The rules are simple, bring in as many home-baked mince pies as you would like to enter into the competition, we’ll judge them (lucky us) and give you some token gesture present that we found lying around in the shed (or maybe some beer). As with all our cooking competitions, feel free to also bring in any other homemade or homegrown food to share out with everyone in the pub. Entries must be in by 7pm.
