Here at the Sally we only want to serve you food which is fresh, local and good quality. To guarantee all the food we serve you is cooked fresh on the day, our menu has just three main courses. We have two permanent dishes which are locally-sourced, quintessential pub classics; ham, egg and chips and the ploughman’s lunch. To supplement these, our chefs cook ‘The Third Dish’. The Third Dish changes each lunchtime and is therefore cooked fresh each time. No microwaving, no re-heating, just great quality food.

Food is served Friday to Sunday from noon until 2pm. Please note we don’t take bookings or reservations and we don’t serve food in the evenings except for special events.

This week’s Third Dishes are:

Friday 23rd February – Tiley’s beer battered haddock fillet served hand-cut chips, minted mushy peas and tartare sauce

Saturday 24th February – Chicken, mint and coriander curry served with basmati rice, naan bread, mango chutney and lime pickle

Sunday 25th February – Slow-roasted shoulder of Gloucestershire Old Spot pork served with hassleback potatoes, buttered savoy cabbage, cauliflower cheese, carrots, apple sauce and a cider gravy
