Food is served Tuesday to Sunday 12pm-2pm. A selection of hot pies with mash, peas and gravy are available Tuesday to Thursday with our full menu including our famous ham, egg and chips and ploughman’s served Friday to Sunday. Our menu is deliberately concise to ensure all food is local and cooked fresh on the day. Weekend specials including vegetarian options to accompany our ham, egg and chips and ploughman’s are listed below. Please note we do not serve food in the evening apart from Hotpot & Pint night (Monday) & special events (please see website or events boards) & we do not take reservations. Bar snacks including pork pies and rolls are available at all times.

Tues 18th / Weds 19th / Thurs 20th February – A choice of hot pie (shin of beef, Breton chicken, tartiflette or curried vegetable) served with creamy mash, peas and gravy

Friday 21st February – Smoked Haddock, Salmon & Mussel Pie, topped with dill mash & Isle of Mull cheese

Saturday 22nd February – Hanger Steak, served with polenta chips, winter greens & blue cheese sauce

Sunday 23rd February – Slow Roasted Shoulder of Lamb, served with roast potatoes, buttered carrots, winter greens & Tiley’s ale gravy

Weekend Vegetarian Option – Cauliflower, leek & orzo gratin

Weekend Dessert – Custard tart & Yorkshire rhubarb

Monday 24th February Hotpot & Pint Night – Pork & Root Vegetable Hotpot, served with crusty bread & butter
