Here at the Sally we only want to serve you food which is fresh, local and good quality. To guarantee all the food we serve you is cooked fresh on the day, our menu has just three main courses. We have two permanent dishes which are locally-sourced, quintessential pub classics; ham, egg and chips and the ploughman’s lunch. To supplement these, our chefs cook ‘The Third Dish’. The Third Dish changes each lunchtime and is therefore cooked fresh each time. No microwaving, no re-heating, just great quality food.
Food is served Friday to Sunday from noon until 2pm. Please note we don’t take bookings or reservations and we don’t serve food in the evenings except for special events.

Friday 28th April – Lemon & herb baked salmon, served chilled with a minted pea puree, asparagus, buttered new potatoes and mixed salad
Saturday 29th April – Thai green chicken curry served with basmati rice, naan bread and mango chutney
Sunday 30th April – “Porc au chou” – Pork belly from our own Gloucestershire Old Spots in a cider and white cabbage hotpot served with creamed potatoes, carrots and peas
Monday 1st May – Goat’s cheese, red pepper and red onion tart served with rosemary roasted new potatoes and mixed salad
